·         Priority enrollment for current families: Forms and deposits must be returned Friday, May 5^th. After that date, enrollment will open to other Montessori students from outside our school.

·         elementary students in 1^st–6^th year will be combined into one class

·         current extended day students will remain with the primary community for all summer sessions

 for this session only there will be a half-day or full day option. The half-day option is priced to be able to pay the visiting artist who will conduct the lessons.                                             payment for session 1 Due by May 15^th

q              Session 1:  JUNE 12 – 23^rd (2 weeks) - Fiber Art   Jackie Vaughn & MS. Jennifer   limit 15 students.

Students will learn about wool, how it is processed, and different breeds of sheep. They will then make their own drop spindle and will create yarn. From that they will learn to knit and weave. Lower el. students will work with jackie from 10-12 and upper el will work with her from 1-3.

learn how to build a variety of unique creations in this wood working workshop

Session 3:  JULY 24 – AUGUST 4^TH - Art & Artists - Ms. Kelly Boyle - limit 15 students
learn about famous artists and explore artistic technique in a variety of media.

Session 4:  AUGUST 7 – 18^th - Scrapbooking - Ms. Jennifer - limit 15 students
Be sure to pick up your camera at the beginning of the summer and have fun compiling your summer memories into a scrap book during our last session! (Cameras provided)
